Today I got more gifts. I got socks from one of my students and SPAM (with a nifty carring case)from the school. If you have any good recipes send them my way...
It has been a week of eating...We had chicken and cheesecake (for another teacher's Birthday) tteok, song pyun, asian pears and pizza in the teacher's room. It really is close to the American Thanksgiving celebration with tons of food. The only difference being that presents are also given as well. Well...thats not the only difference but my students told me today that they will be eating turkey this weekend so it sounds like Thanksgiving to me! Pictures of my gifts:
Most of you know that I will be spending the holiday weekend in Vietnam. I plan on writing while I am there. If I don't however get the chance I promise to do it once I get home on Wednesday. I can't wait, I am really excited! That is really all for now...

I have the greatest recipe ever. Take the spam cook it and put it on a pizza with a bunch of doritos.

why is suggesting the pizza being an ass? You never tried it, remember your dad liked it too.
Ha..your students are lying to you. You can't get turkey in Korea, except on the black market, or maybe Costco.
Karen, haha, really? They would lie to me too, it was Steve and Jay and that class...you know how they are.

Spam - yum! Grandma Dort used to fry it. It doesn't make a bad sandwich - if you use lots of mayo and lettuce. I used to cut it up in mac & cheese.

Aunt Anne? Aunt Debbie? Mom? Hmm I will try that, eventually. Tonight I made spaghetti and put some pieces of spam in it. That actually wasn't that bad. It didn't taste like meatballs but it was still good.
