Patriotic
So yesterday I didn't post because nothing happened...Neither did anything today but I thought I would show some pics of my neighborhood. South Korea has geared up for the Olympics by putting a flag or 2 on every light post in my area. I don't know about the other neighborhoods of Seoul...I don't live there. Anyway I thought is was awesome! You may need to right click and see full size image to see all the flags in the 2nd two pictures. Also as a side note, this happened overnight...I went home from school and when I was walking back to school the next day, they were there. Many of the shops in the area have a couple flags hanging up as well, I didn't feel as comfortable taking a picture of that though.

lol..those flags aren't there for the Olympics. Friday is Liberation Day, when Korea achieved independence from Japan. That's also why you don't have to go to work tomorrow.;)

Karen, I was actually aware of Liberation Day...But I wasn't aware of the purpose of the flags. My bad :0
