Resolution #21

So another of my awesome resolutions were fulfilled this weekend. I made a trip to the Kimchi museum. It is conviently located in one of the biggest and nicest malls I've ever been in. On my way to the museum I was waiting for my friends and I decided to do some shopping. I have finally realized that Korea has gotten too cute. In Korea it is really common to have cell phone charms. (I have 3, two of them are Hello Kitty, so what?) But now cell phone charms have charms. Take a look at these pictures and notice that next to the charm is a littler charm attached. Too cute...
So the Kimchi museum was a tiny bit disappointing. It was small. We did get to taste some though, and I love kimchi so I was excited. There were tons of things that I didn't know about kimchi. Like that it is made of many different vegetables. Also, different places in Korea make different kimchi. A long time ago when there weren't refrigerators, ancestors would bury the kimchi pots in the ground to be able to keep it longer, it was the perfect temperature for fermentation. Also there are about 20 really interesting fusions of Kimchi that exist. Like kimchi bread and kimchi stuffed chicken and pork rolls... Anyway, some pics.
