Japan Day 2

So Day 2 in Tokyo was a busy one. We started our day at the Tsukiji Fish Market. This is a place where you can obviously buy fish but you can also buy other things as well. You can buy many kitchen gadgets and trinkets. My favorite part however is that you can buy fresh sushi. We had the best sushi of my life here. We also visited the Namiyoke-jinja Shinto Shrine where the fishmongers go to pray before work. After that we took a nice stroll from the fish market to the Imperial Palace. Although all of Tokyo is easily reached by subway, walking allows you to see parts of Tokyo that you wouldn't be able to see if you were in a train all the time.
Then while we were casually walking around we saw this cafe and just had to stop inside. To me it was clear what to order because it was all over the menu, it looked like noodles...Here is my delicious "chestnut flavored noodles". I'm exactly sure what it is but they are delicious and I would eat them again if given the chance.Next we visited the Imperial Palace, well the grounds anyway, the palace is only open to the public like 2 times a year and it wasn't one of the 4 days we visited...

Tokyo Imperial Palace (皇居, kōkyo; literally Imperial Residence?) is the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. It is a large park-like area located in Chiyoda, Tokyo close to Tokyo Station and contains various buildings such as the main palace and the private residences of the imperial family. The total area including the gardens is 7.41 square kilometers. During the height of the 1980s Japanese property bubble, the palace grounds were valued by some as more than the value of all the real estate in the state of California. Thanks wikipedia ;)After that we went out for dinner and drinks (nothing special there) and then went into a photo booth. I this photo booth, like other you get your friends together and act crazy in the booth but afterwards you get to decorate the pictures. You can put like comic vocal bubbles on the photos and other pictures like hats and bow ties and pick a back ground. It was really cool. This is a picture of some creators at the machine...
