Today I finally finished a project I was working on for my kids! I made them an advent calendar. It will have 25 different traditional Christmas things on it. Each day a different kid will get to pull off a date and reveal the picture underneath. The bottom picture:

In the summer I also bought an advent calendar for myself, the kind with chocolate and everything:
Tomorrow we are putting up our tree and fireplace. I'll take pictures later when we have all the sets for the play done too.

I'm impressed you made a pie in the microwave. Sounds sketchy to me.
Erica, yeah, not as good as a baked one but when I was looking for recipes for Thanksgiving in the microwave I found out that a ton of stuff can be made in the microwave...Good to know if you ever break your oven...Now all I have to do is find the stuff to make enchiladas and I will be set!!

Aunt Barb!!!I am soooo excited to hear from you!!! I agree that google is quite a process but once you figure it out it will get easier. Maybe my mom can show you an easier way at Christmas time! Have you been skiing lately? I am thinking about going in January! Talk to you later...
