Saturdays

Today I had a good day just chillin out and about in Seoul. First I went to Jeongja (Paris in Korea) and had lunch with a new friend. After that I went to the Korea Souvenier Market in Insadong. I finally tried the candy that I watched the men make. I believe there is even a video post about it...Anyway it is a traditional court cake called kkul tarae. Basically is is honey that is stretched out into 16000 hairlike strands. and then it is wrapped around a nut filling. It was delicious.

After that I was really craving some Greek food so I headed to the Foreign area of Seoul call Itaewon. There I got some good food but it wasn't as Greek as I wanted it to be... Still tasted good though.

Then I got on the subway and on the way home I noticed that a man next to me (Korean man) was reading English. I decided to take a look at it. Maggie, Kevin and Jason you will appreciate this: he was reading about game theory, specifically the Prisoner's Dilema and Pareto Equilibrium. It was just crazy to see someone reading it especially in a foreign language. It made me miss ole' Paul Fellows.

That was basically it. Sunday will take me to Costco where I plan to get things for Thanksgiving Dinner, I'll let you know how that pans out.
