Blah Blah Blah

Today I made amends with the student that I upset yesterday. Not only is he smart so he understood my explanation of silly but he is also really young and they tend to forget things like that easily.

Work was really good today. I feel like I am starting to get the hang of it already...I still have like a week before I have to lesson plan which makes it easy for me to concentrate on the routine of the day.

After work I had a few errands to run. I went to the post office and mailed 5 post cards, then I had the tips of my heels repaired and then I bought a loaf of bread. This all only cost me $7. I love that some things here are really inexpensive. The only problem is that it takes me forever to do things because I don't speak or understand the language. So I have to point a lot and people have to write or type prices into a calculator so I know how much they are asking for. But other than that pretty low key day.

Interesting tip: TV in South Korea is poorly planned. Monday morning I woke up and turned on the TV to one of the English channels (there are only 4) and friends was on two times. Commericials only occur between episodes, which is nice. But today I woke up and was like, "Yes Friends!" but sadly it was not on. Something else was, and then I switched the channel (another English channel) and Hitch was on (the movie with Will Smith). I just found this weird because who plays a movie that new at like 7 am? Not me...Anyway so no counting on when shows will be aired.

I can barely even pretend to know what it means to have the tips of your heels repaired. Glad you're getting the hang of things easily <3 ~Erica

I'm gonna take you by surprise and make you realize, Amanda! I'm gonna tell you right away I can't wait another day, Amanda! Can you tell I was listening to Boston today? I'm glad everything is going well. I bet it's fun to teach those cute kids - I imagine they are a lot more respectful than (most) American kids would be. Good luck lady!

Erica, the tip of the heel is the bpttpm part of the shoe, the stelletto has a tip that protects it from being worn away...I broke one off at the club.
Maggie, now you know why my mom named me the way she did...just kidding, bu makes for a good story, right? Yes my students are respectful and much cuter than American children...How are things going for you these days?
Cat, check email...
