More of the same

Sorry it has been so long since I have written a post. There isn't really anything going on that is all that interesting. I work pretty much all day long...I want to tell you about the setup of the school, it is not that common, but I also want to include pics, which I haven't taken yet.

My apartment is as good as it is going to be for a while so I think tomorrow I will do a video post of it. That should be somewhat interesting.

We have a party tomorrow night for a teacher who used to work at our school. It is her birthday tomorrow and it will be 8/8/08 so everyone is dressing up to a famous eight, ex. the birthday girl is pregnant so she is going as an 8 ball, Lydia (a teacher at my school) is going in an 80's theme and so on. I am not dressing up, I am the new girl...Anyway, there might be pictures from that.

Some people were talking of sightseeing this weekend and I might tag along and get some pics from that.

What have I eaten recently? Yesterday we had a spicy vienna sausage for lunch and it was like the best thing I've ever had...until today when I had don kass (sp?) which is a breaded pork cutlet, both meals came with sides of kimchi and rice. Tonight for dinner I had (literally translated) tuna over rice. It was very spicy and very delicious. Sometimes another common side is radish kimchi. It doesn't taste like radish or kimchi to me at all and maybe that is why I love it. It is a bright yellow color and has a sweet, almost citrus taste. I think there are pictures on the last post I did with mondu.

Anyway, stay posted for the apartment, the party, this weekend and school.

Come on, Amanda, you gotta dress up! You could be a spider (8 legs), or an octopus (8 tentacles), or a menorah (8 candles...or is it 9?). Sounds like fun!

Jason, class is fun, draining but fun. The pictures will be amazing.
Maggie, I thought about being a spider but I won't really know a lot of the people at this thing so I don't really want to stand out more than I already will...But I will think about it.
